I have been working at TheLadders

Pros

Pros: Great benefits; if you are in sales, you have the ability to make a decent amount of money; they are pretty good about time off; internet is open; no cubicles; kitchen is stocked with snacks/ drinks; generally a good atmosphere to work in.

Cons

No leadership; no opportunities to grow; unfair practices in terms of promotion; monotonous work; moving away from the startup mentality; constantly taking things away (benefits, 401k, commissions, kitchen); always say they are going to do xyz and nothing ever gets done; business model is falling apart.

Laid back place to work but don't look for a career.

    Pros

Best Reasons include well stock fridge and snacks. You can wear whatever you'd like to work to a certain extent. Clock in at 9 clock out at 6. No overtime. Banging Holiday Party. Good benefits.

    Cons

Not really a place where you can grow. You can be one of the most intelligent people but the company will never recognize that. People rewarded based on how long they have been at the company not on individual skill or merit. Mangers follow under this same guideline and don't posses the skills any experienced manager would. You hear more from gossip about the company then managers presenting you with information of what is going on.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communication. Give your employees something to work towards.

    Pros

Great benefits, great people, free food, unlimited vacation

    Cons

Product doesnt work, the database of active subscribers is misrepresented to potential clients, impossible to get people to renew business after product fails - your classic "one and done", keep changing their business model, sales management have no strategy, no direction and no answers

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

make your flagship product better instead of offering different prodicts to drive revenue

    No opinion of CEO
