Former Employee – worked at Theranos
Pros – Left Theranos in 2011 due to personal issues requiring me to move out of the state. Their projects are backed with very solid funding, and their growth is an indicator of this. For me, the best part of Theranos for me was the quality of their employees - really the top folks in the given fields, not to mention their board and senior management.
3 meals a day plus snacks never hurts as well.
Cons – It's true that senior management may often be difficult to meet with, but this is only due to the fact that they are moving a mile a minute - employees who align themselves with the company's vision and direction are rewarded in spades, and promotions are attainable.
It seems the biggest criticism is the highly cut-throat culture, but there is a reason that employees who can't meet deadlines or communicate properly are let go.
It's very difficult for the public to decipher what the company does and the direction they are heading, but this is also by design.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
