I worked at Things Remembered full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

I loved the customers and the engraving. It was fun. I had great relationships with a lot of the people who came in regularly.

    Cons

Constantly shifting District Managers and always changing policies made it a challenge not to run off screaming. Training was always lacking as hours were not given for it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take more time to educate employees.

I worked at Things Remembered part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    - Really easy job (i worked as a sales associate on the floor)
    - They are understanding if you are a student
    - Side jobs are pretty easy too, not too strenuous
    - My manager and coworkers were some of the nicest, down to earth people and they made me feel at home.
    - We each had different goals on what we have to sell, but if you didn't make your goals nothing bad happened
    - Over all pretty easy especially if this is the first job you ever had like in my case.

    Cons

    - You're on your feet pretty much for the whole shift so remember to wear comfy shoes
    - They really stress to sell engravings with the premium fonts which cost $5 extra and you practically have to lie to customers which I don't like doing...pretty stressful when customers find out they didn't have to pay as much for an engraving and then they get on you about it
