I worked at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Thomas Jefferson is a huge hospital and the opportunities are just as large, just make sure that you are a part of a field that you're interested in.

    Cons

If anything I would say that the buildings are confusing to navigate.

A well respected institution in the public eye, but not respected by its employees.

I worked at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital

    Pros

relatively equal pay to other Philadelphia hospitals, friendly / helpful coworkers (mostly), appreciative patients, OK health coverage for employees (within the system only) and interesting work (to say the least).

    Cons

management is for management (not for nurses), senior management is out of touch with their employees, OK health coverage for employees (within the system only) - yes, this is a Pro and a Con, employees can sometimes be "difficult" with each other (ie - Human Resources issues).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay attention to your employees needs and listen to the advice they're trying to give you about how to run the system better - they work hard every day they're there.
PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT THEY SAY.
