    Pros

Co-workers and fellow nurses are very supportive of each other in a very hostile work environment.

    Cons

New ETO policy screams age discrimination. People are being fired for being legitimately sick. Even doctors' notes and hospital discharge instructions are not enough to avoid being written up for a sick call. Also, the new absence policy is at the discretion of managers with respect to who gets written up and who dose not ---- very unfair.

    Advice to Management

Management is extremely unprofessional, they treat nurses like children and grant special favors such as great schedules and days off to their favorite nurses. Wake up and stop trying to convince nurses that there are no other jobs available and that they should not form a union.
