Good place to work, but not the company is now Thomson with not a lot of "Reuters" left in it

Former Employee - Director of Operations in London, England (UK)
Former Employee - Director of Operations in London, England (UK)

I worked at Thomson Reuters full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

Global, varied, multi-faceted and fast paced. Thomson Reuters is a good place to work but it is changing dramatically and the culture of the company is shifting. At senior management level you are well looked after but the focus on training and development lower down the company is diminishing.

Cons

Eagan and New York are now the main centres, London now takes a back seat to these centres. To be effective in a senior roles you need to be in one of these two centres and if you are part of the "Eagan Elite" then you are made within the organisation.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

In an effort to make the company profitable try not to wipe out the "innovative" culture completely

Neutral Outlook
Disapproves of CEO
