Pros

you can keep improve yourself in TR, there are so may fantastic knowledge share sessions and learning groups. and people work with me are professional and nice.

Cons

if there are some downsides, I think maybe it is not good for re-org frequent, and sometime high level management team, especially technology department, should get more information from bottom team from technical perspective.

Advice to Management

like I said previous, sometime the bottom team know the technical structure and architecture more, so it will be appreciate that management team get more advice from low level employees.

    Pros

Some flexibility to work from home. Small bonus paid each year. Some colleagues became good friends.

    Cons

Very poor management at lower levels. Highly qualified, skilled and experienced employees paid an insultingly low hourly rate. No recognition, and reward was below the cost of living each year. Low morale, high absenteeism and high turnover are an accepted part of the culture. Lots of redundancies and off shoring of work.

    Advice to Management

Invest wisely in employees, recruit managers who have risen through the ranks and have maturity and people skills. Address issues of turnover properly and learn to value and retain your experienced employees. Streamline products and bring together the Thomson and Reuters brands more effectively. Invest in better technology.
