Was great culturally at Reuters though slow moving, not so great since TR, didn't hang around to find out...

I worked at Thomson Reuters full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

Reuters had some good products and Thomson has some. Need to get the best of both worlds out cleanly with a coherent strategy.

Cons

The Thomson side of the house didn't have a great reputation on the street, though there are some good products there. Things are too uncertain now.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get through the post acquisition fast so employees can plan for their future.

    Great company, interesting new technologies to use, good benefits and work environment, good career opportunities. would recommend for people who like challenges

    No big cons, long term planning is not there, restructuring very often and as a result laid off of the personnel
