I have been working at Thomson Reuters full-time (more than a year)

Pros

No overtime is expected, and the environment is really low stress. Great opportunity to learn, sharing knowledge and contributing to your team is emphasized. Management is fairly laid back and expectations are very clear.

Cons

Specific to this job role, you have the cons you get in any job focused on customer service (you may have to deal with some stressed out unreasonable people). Everything is based on seniority so you may have to work an unusual schedule when you first start.

I have been working at Thomson Reuters as a contractor (more than 3 years)

    Pros

-OK job to start with after graduating, but DON'T stay
    -Flexible hours

    Cons

-In the interview they lie and tell you that there are opportunities to grow, but there's no room for growth.
    -Unprofessional, rude and greedy management.
-Alot of favoritism and too much gossiping
-Be prepared to get "thrown under the bus"
    -High turnover rate
    -Employees are not valued

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Value the employees and change the team leaders. Increase pay because cost of living in DC is extremely high. Create room for growth.

    Negative Outlook
