Positive Outlook
No opinion of CEO

I worked at ThyssenKrupp full-time (More than 8 years)

Pros

Stable, secure job with good business growth.

Cons

European plant manager ran the facility with a 'good ol boys' mentality. Did not promote based on experience or education level, but rather if he liked you personally or not. Also, you had to be male without a family at home because he believed that you would spend more time at work. He likes young inexperienced boys to promote as managers because they would be "yes" people.

Advice to Management

Promotions should be based on education and experience not because your from some European country or because the boys do not have a wife and kids at home. Advancement should be based on education and experience. Those people tend to make good business decisions.

I have been working at ThyssenKrupp as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

The site is beautiful and clean, Higher management seems friendly, and willing to talk to you if you have a problem

    Cons

the cafeteria is not all that good, a site as big as TK could use a little more diversity in their cuisine

    Advice to Management

the directors are very nice and hardworking i believe they know what they are doing. AIDT "teacher" can defiantly use some training, like about different ethnicities and their culture
