Boiler room environment.

ProsI get my own cubicle.

ConsVery poor infrastructure. Training is non-existent. Most employees and managers are technologically ignorant. Tools provided to employees to help manage and grow the business are laughable. Sales leads are a joke. Senior account managers get fed large accounts, while mid and low-level managers have to scrounge for scraps. Commission structure is confusing and setup so that account managers don't get maximum pay for their work. The only way to earn a decent income is to sell lots of warranties and SPIFF'd product. Base salary is a joke compared to similar companies. There is zero opportunity for career advancement.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop trying to micro-manage ever little thing. Get a website that works. Treat the Canadian side of the business with more respect. Develop some real tools to manager accounts.
