ProsExcellent benefits, open company culture, flexible work schedule, well-known brand name known for quality product (journalism), ability to move within the company both up and / or laterally.

ConsUnscrupulous management went pretty much unchecked for a good period of time, mostly due to bureaucracy, leading to poor decisions internally causing a lot of damage to departments and moral. Major layoffs during economic downturn. Lack of support in HR.

Advice to Senior ManagementHave an "open door" policy when it comes to feedback about upper management.
