Pros

Many opportunities to learn through Time Inc University and other initiatives, many opportunities to gain experience in multiple divisions. Nice, ambitious colleagues.

Cons

Work-life balance was tough for some pregnant women in our team; communication between mid-level and upper management insufficient.

Advice to Management

Money spending at upper management level was sometimes out of control according to some mid-level managers.

    Pros

Best of the best journalists, editors, and business people.

    Cons

Magnitude of the cons are small in light of the Pros.

    Advice to Management

Essential company...preserve and strengthen the core mission: impactful journalism...fix the business model. A healthy Time Inc. is arguably more important to the U.S. and world than a healthy General Motors.
