    Pros

Decent benefits, pay can be quite good.

    Cons

Terrible management in this company. They are fond of sales harassment instead of sales support. Very much a "good ol' boy" network. Give you vacation but severe restrictions on when you can take it. Getting a day off away from your phone is next to impossible. Very high stress level. It used to be if you met your sales goals they would back off. Not any more! Now they expect more, more, more. Nothing is ever good enough. Worst sales organization I have worked in. No concept of modern (last 30 years) management styles. Threaten and silly contests are the only way they know to motivate people. How some of these people made it into management is cause for concern. Some of the tactics they use are even illegal, imo. They electronically monitor you every day. It is crazy. On the first train out.

    Advice to Management

Quit treating people like slaves while you sit at home on your couch and send out rah rah emails.

    Pros

Next to free cable, phone, and internet, Good (used to be Great) Benefits, Great Products

    Cons

You'll go broke using your own car, too many additional/mandatory responsibilities that aren't sales related, "turf" distributed that has been "worked" the week before, supervisors in place that weren't successful doing the job, they'll "take" sales from you for one reason or another, salary too low, commissions too low, "churn & burn" ya, unreasonable quotas - they don't account for vacation/off days, policies change with no notice(TWC="Things Will Change").

    Advice to Management

Sales: Reward people 'who can do what others can't or won't'= extraordinary performance deserves extraordinary pay , stop externalizing costs to employees, when "sales people" make less than installers = you will no longer keep sales people, 'do unto others...'=mandatory 6 day work-weeks with mandatory check ins...Really?
