Time Warner Cable Collections Representative in San Antonio, TX:   (Current Employee)

Pros

401K Company Match, Medical, Dental, free cable/hsd, half price home phone & pay-per-view

Cons

Job insecurity. People come and go like a revolving door. Moving up depends on who you know, or who you're related to. Want to get ahead? Just toot your own horn and brown-nose as much as possible.

Customers are overcharged. Employees are underpaid, and the public hates you. You'll never hear anything positive about TWC in the media, and your friend & relatives will always think that you know the answer as to why their rates just went up again.

There is no union, and just by mentioning the word, you are putting your job at risk. Seniority gets you nothing more than a pat on the back, and a few extra days of vacation.

It's just not a comfortable place to work.

Advice to Senior Management

One day there will be a union. Be respectful now, and you will be remembered for it later.
