Overall the experience at TWC was good. The people there were great and the sense of teamwork was strong.

I worked at Time Warner Cable full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Decent pay and benefits and the people there were great. It was a great learning opportunity.

Cons

It seems that we were always understaffed and under budgeted for the goals that were set.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would say that the overall management mentality when I was there was to believe that they knew it all. They rarely took the advice of their peers or subordinates in order to really understand the issues that were brought to them.

I have been working at Time Warner Cable full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Home fleet, good benefits good support.

    Cons

Stress, time frames, "the process" low pay

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Techs must deal with customers face to face, fight traffic to make time frames, work in all weather conditions day and night, work in low crawl spaces and hot attics, deal with heights only feet away from energized power lines yet dispatchers start out at the same pay as techs.
