I have been working at Time Warner Cable full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

There are a lot of oppurtunities to move up its chill work atmosphere most of the time its in the city.

Cons

still corparate and you have to deal with office politics sometime.

    I worked at Time Warner Cable full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    hours open 24/7 if in school this place is perfect
    get free cable,phone and internet
    insurance plan is decent

    Cons

    even as help desk support you have a sales quota
    TWC has branched out into several lines of business now so you are expected to sell sell sell
    customer service to the customer has been lost
    if you want a sales team get one but do not expect one person to be a jack of all trades with few perks

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    start over the "core values" no longer match what you are pushing on you customer service/care reps

    I worked at Time Warner Cable full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    There is an over all "can do" attitude with many of the employees. Great culture and environment to work in, for the most part. The benefits are excellent too. Pay not to bad either.

    Cons

    The constant shift in how things change. Sometimes never getting the same answer, or any answer, to a question. As a CSSR, I had to retain customers as much as possible, but the company tied our hands in doing so.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Give employees a little bit more leeway in trying to keep your customer. Also, start looking at upgrading customer's equipment ASAP
