    Pros

My peers were competent, pay and benefits were very good, but were not enough to keep me there.

    Cons

Limited to no career path in my department; constantly shifting management and team structure, made it difficult to stay and remain on board with constantly shifting initiatives. Managed by babysitting; untrusting managers were directed by leadership to cube check, walk the halls and check IM status of employees on the team, because, if your mouse moves every 5 minutes, you must be working. Limited, if ever positive feedback on anything, critical feedback was was a given and was often delivered publicly. Employees are scared and not motivated to take risks and this culture was created. Executive leaders fish on social networking sites for dirt on their employees.

    Advice to Management

Trust that your people want to do good work for you. When you treat professionals like 2 year olds, they will absolutely leave.

    Pros

Great company overall, a lot of great people that become family, excellent benefits, very diverse culture

    Cons

If you want to have a work / life balance...if you want to be appreciated / rewarded for a job well done...if you want to be respected for the work you do...if you want to learn and grow in your position...and ultimately advance to the next level...if you want to have the support of supervisor....if you want to report to someone who actually knows something about training...STAY AWAY FROM THE SALES TRAINING DEPARTMENT. No leadership from the Senior Director of Sales Training,; he doesn't know anything about training. He has no leadership skills and doesn't know how to manage his people. He'll expect you to do all of his work for him, while he takes all the credit. Expect to work from the time sun comes up until long after the sun goes down...as you will put in very long hours...all for nothing. The pay is below industry standard, and the annual increases are truly a joke. If you have a passion for training and sales, and really want to learn and grow in a sales training position, where your ideas and the work you do will be appreciated....stay away from the TWC sales training department. If they ever get a new senior director, maybe things will change...but I doubt that's going to happen any time soon.

    Advice to Management

Hire the right people for positions...especially when it comes to the person leading the team that is responsible for training your sales agents.
