I worked at Time Warner Cable full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Free cable services, supervisors and management can be helpful, They try to put you close to home, there is always work.

Cons

Impossible job goals at times, customer surveys, low pay and raises, low bonuses, the hours, the way they promote people... you have to read a huge book in 3 months or less and if you take the test and fail it you have to pay a couple of hundred dollars.

I have been working at Time Warner Cable full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Time Warner Cable offers many opportunities to seek a position that fits your skill set, and allows you to quickly advance to that position from entry level. There are great sales incentives and perks if you're motivated.

    Cons

This is a typical call center environment, which is not for everyone and the pay is below average for the area.

    Advice to Management

I would advise a grass roots movement to rebuild the image of the company. The industry and the company needs a face lift. One recommendation for change in Customer Service would be to make sure no customer is left to call back in if a call is disconnected or dropped. It is a simple adjustment for an inbound call center that would go a long way with the customers.
