Time Warner Cable – “I use to Love this Place”
Pros
Great Benefits, Free Cable and Internet, The Workers are good people
Cons
First 5 years were the best. Competent Leadership, Work life balance, Great HR Department, I can go on and on, but the last 5 years have been the complete opposite.
Management doesnt truly understand how to build and maintain a positive work place, the "bottom line" way of thinking is what is actulaly hurting our bottom line. Employees (up to the Manager Level) are treated like cattle, work hard as long as you can for the lowest pay possible. If you do make a decent wage, your constantly dogding unjust attacks by Leadership in there attempt to terminate you to free up capital to replace you with 2 maybe 3 noobs that cant even make it to work on time let alone dedicate themselved to nether time warners core values nor Time Warner as a Company.
Every Department has there own agenda. Changes in one department reck havic on another, but who cares, as long as we get our numbers up and our bonuses. This way of thinking is similair to a boomerang, because it comes right back around to bite you in the a** later. This keeps the company in a never ending loop of crisis management. Now. who can ever become better and master anything thats in a constant state of Choatic Change.
Advice to Senior Management
I've worked in many different departments, have held many different position, and I can honestly say that the Company has changed for the worse. If we would truly live by our "Mission and Values" statement, there would not be the awfully low morale that we (the employee) feel when we come to work.
The Metrics mean nothing when your cheating and fluffing the numbers.
Team work means nothing when your pitting us against each other for a crumy bonus, this is causing Anti-teamwork.
Mission means nothing when our leaders dont follow nor understand them.
HEY!!! the politics and hidden agendas are killing up down here at the bottom, PLEASE STOP IT!!!.
I hope and pray that Time Warner able Mid-Ohio can get its luster back, but by that time I'll have a new job.
I USE TO LOVE THIS PLACE, NOW I HATE IT.

It is only a matter of time before he puts the Time Warner Cable in position of another law-suit for Racial and ethnic discrimination.
