Lots of room for advancement in Canton, Ohio, domestically and internationally. Business casual dress makes working at Timken comfortable. Good pay and benefits.

Cons

There is somewhat of a line in the sand between hourly and salary employees. It is often a challenge to compromise on issues. Also, the "new generation" of workes starting at Timken are sometimes given a hard time.

Be sure to acknowledge what lower level employes do for each department. Sometimes the daily tasks that help keep the business running smoothly are easily forgotten about. Also, keep an open line of communication with EVERYONE.
