Pros

It is a pretty big company. I enjoyed assisting the customers that really did not have anywhere else to go for their financial needs.

Cons

The pay was not as competitive. I also wish they would eliminate in the field collections. It quite dangerous and honestly no amount of money is enough to put your life at risk.

    Pros

    Base Pay $30k plus $20K bonus, (Rigged 40 hrs @ $10.50, 8 hrs @ $19.00 , OT @ $29.00)
    Office setting,
    Every other weekend off.

    Cons

long hours, no vacation only PTO, collection call!!!collection calls !!!!, marketing marketing that is a total waste of time and effort with no payoff,
Poor upper management, lack of proper training.
You have to use your own car to chase customers who do not pay, you get only 35 cents per mile when the fed allows you up to 55 cents (Rip off) oh your your vehicle is not covered by your insurance. If your not white then forget about promotions with this company.
Very high demands/ goals from upper management which are not attainable. The commission / bonus is set up in a way that you can not make any decent money.
Do not work for this company not only, it rips off their customer but they will suck every last drop off blood from you as well.
2 years is an average length of service after that they will find a way to terminate you employment.
Potential to make money its just a not true...
Computers are outdated and software issues on a daily bases if not hourly..
No petty cash or any office expense allowed without DM approval
There is no career opportunity, life balance or culture & values with this company.

DO NOT BE FOOLED INTO WORKING FOR TITLEMAX
RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN FROM THIS COMPANY IT WILL HARM YOUR RESUME

    Advice to Management

Help you team instead of staring at your laptops all day long waiting to see who has a loan,
Have a meaning full audits rather just numbers. Develop you team instead off just think about your big fat paycheck that you make by praying on the management team...
Go out and conduct a payment default visit, or do some marketing yourself so you when what the GM have to go through.
Stop lying to new hires about the potential to make money because you know its just a not true...

    Pros

Competitive pay for the industry, full computer training, rotating Saturdays, PTO, other than that I can't think of any other "perks" compared to other jobs

    Cons

Poor upper management skills-Like most reviews say, they sell you this pipe dream of earning potential which is very unlikely. They'll constantly mention these rare "million dollar" profit stores, and will expect you to do the leg work of marketing and advertising THEIR company by going around business to business begging and hanging door flyers. You will have to drive all over for 38 cents a mile-which barely covers gas. All HR will do is cover their behinds over morality and they will hire and fire at the drop of a hat. They have this wonderful video about company values and ethics-but it is a total joke considering they do the opposite of everything they represent. The Store Manager position is a joke, it's really only an Assistant Manager position or as I like to call it, a well trained CSR. In this company it's not what you know, but more so who you know. This was a total waste of time and an insult to someone who has real experience. All you will be is a SALES REP paid mostly off commission with no job security. Please take heed-you'll regret it! If you need to take the job for obvious reasons, keep your resume floating and search like heck-you'll be glad you did. If you have a family, don't count on this as definite income either. They'll use you up and kick you to the curb like yesterdays trash especially in those "at will" employment states.

    Advice to Management

Pay close attention to your DM's and RM's and stop letting people leave great jobs and opportunities for your pipe dreams-your making the economy worse with the revolving door of employees thinking they've walked into a great company! Be upfront about the positions and that they are sales jobs-not actual customer service based or management.
