Toro has a strong brand...in Commercial Equipment not irrigation. That is why the Irritrol name was kept after the Toro quality fiasco in 2002 (which still lingers in the minds of dealers). When Ed Hunter left Toro, he created an equally strong brand and LEADS the industry in innovation and sales by creating products customers need & desire without sacrificing product quality and performance.
If you look at the Sales figures of the competition, you will find Toro Res/Com is ranked 3rd...behind Rain Bird both of whom are waaaaay behind Hunter Industries. This situation will not improve until there is turnover at the highest and mid levels at Toro Irrigation.
