I worked at Total Woman Gym and Day Spa

    Pros

Friendly co-workers. Flexible schedule. Rewarding working with clients.

    Cons

No support from management to make sales in tough economic times. Broken equipment took too long to replace. Only got commission on sales above $900. No benefits or vacation pay even though you have to request time off. Only got paid when client signs for sessions and it is based (35%) on what client pay for their sessions and they are always offering specials so your pay is lowered. Bottom line, they are only concerned with sales.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take into consideration the slow times of the year and that it may be hard to make numbers some months but go over goals on others. Give employees tools to help them succeed.

    Pros

    They treat you with respect.

    Cons

As a substitute I have to wait until someone needs a replacement before I can work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If customers want more of one specific class they should get it. It doesn't matter if you have a variety of classes if customers don't want those types of classes. Give the customers what they want and there will be more customers.
