Pros

People. People. People. You feel valued and placed in the best possible position to contribute to the max with enthusiasm and willingness to happily go the extra mile, with a smile on your face.

Cons

Not the highest payer in the market, but they make up for this through benefits (e.g. charity days, flexi holidays) .

I have been working at Totaljobs Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The company has great career opportunities with excellent benefits including 29 days holiday! The working day allows for an active social life and employees are extremely freindly

    Cons

To be honest there isn't many downside to working for TJG, bar the fight to the tube station in the evening past all the tourist, it is a really good place to work!

    Recommends
    Positive Outlook
  2.

Misinformation when recruited. Very cliquey laddish environment. An extreme focus on meetings.

I worked at Totaljobs Group full-time

    Pros

Hours were good 9-5. A good central locaion. Near the British Museam if you just wanted to pop in for lunch to unwind.

    Cons

    An old decrepit work area.
    Very cliquey environment
Very laddish environment. If you don't partake in that then your seen as a bit of a wierdo.
    No innovating fast enough.
    Too much emphasis on meetings.
Too much praise of themselves without looking at what is happening around them.
Too slow to innovate (look at their mobile site)
Joined the company told there was a share save scheme (only to find out on joining that this was not the case)
    No health benefit
No paid sick days until you pass probation

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stop congratulating your selves.
Give your teams more freedom to do what you want.
Make decisions faster (i.e. innovations is fast and risky but then the rewards are great)
Get rid of cliquey middle management
Think about giving people sick days in their first six months instead of treating them as some kind of pariahs; until they pass the probationary period

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
