I have been working at Towers Watson full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great culture, keen to ensure job security, professional.

    Cons

Highly profit focused, reducing the strategic outlook only to the short term for markets of the future. Highly centralized. Relationship oriented - at the cost of meritocracy. Often fails to identify incompetence giving the impression that incompetence is tolerable in order to preserve the 'job security' culture.

    Advice to Management

TW is a case of not practicing what its preaching. A little more focus on talent management and talent models will go a long way in increasing profitability as well as market share. That and a special focus on business services. The RoI on Business services is terrible!
