Actuarial

Actuarial Intern (Former Employee)

I worked at Towers Watson as an intern for less than a year

ProsCompetitive pay, paid study time, very supportive community within the office, hands on experience - great split between actual client work to get an idea of day to day tasks on the job as a starting analyst & the mock client entire valuation process which indicates what you would be doing on a more long term basis with the company as a senior consultant

ConsVery specific to the retirement field - does not provide a good breath of what other types of actuaries do within the company if you are a graduating student trying to determine what field of actuarial you want to pursue most

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
