I worked at Towne Park part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Pretty easy to get a job. I applied and had the job 2 weeks later.
    Solid people to work with.
Flexible hours. It was easy to move my shifts around if I had other things to do outside of work.

    Cons

Being reliant on tips can be frustrating when the hotel is not busy.
When the hotel is REALLY busy, get prepared to run. Fast.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to weed out the workers who don't do much work. It's frustrating to run by those folks who walk all the time.

I have been working at Towne Park full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The hours are flexible, the money is sometimes good, there are practically no consequences as long as everyone is equally bad.

    Cons

People are held to a low standard, and that's the standard to which they perform. Dedicated, talented employees at the bottom level get passed over even when there are frequent vacuums in the positions above them. Managers are hired from outside with no familiarity with the day-to-day operations of the site.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give employees an incentive to do well, rather than just an incentive not to screw up too badly.
