I worked at Towne Park part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

co-workers are friendly, managers are cool, most gsc are amazing (: good pay for cashiers

Cons

Towne park isn't that good of a company, doesn't have good benefits.

Advice to Management

Managers are great !

    I have been working at Towne Park full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    * Low hiring bar (clean DL & drug tests, no felonies) * Lots of open positions in key markets (e.g., Baltimore/D.C., Denver( * Good team environment * Reasonable training * Uniforms provided * Tips go in your pocket, and can be very good, depending upon shifts * Part or full-time available * Limited benefits available after 6 months; good benefits after 1 year * Extra shifts available for special events and to fill in at other sites if you are willing to ask for them - sometimes with extra hourly pay and/or tip guarantees * Overtime pay when working holidays * Usually shift differential for overnight shifts * Self-directed training for advancement available - but you won't be spoon-fed * Plenty of advancement opportunities (supervisor, management)

    Cons

    * New hires get the worst shifts - you must put in your time (could be 6 months+) to get better shifts * You may not get full time at first, but after a brief period of showing you can do the job, going to full-time is usually available * Hard physical work - you may run 3-7 miles per day * Must deal with high-expectation guests with a smile on your face and a positive attitude 100% of the time * Supervisors and Managers can be tough * No vacation, holiday or sick days off * Zero tolerance for being late or missing a shift, unless you have a doctor's note * Co-workers can be childish and/or unprofessional, depending upon the site

    Advice to Management

    * Try to leave some "good" shifts available for new hires - it will help with retention

    can pick up hours as needed, and no real hard aspects.

    Cons

    management is the typical inept group seen all over

    Advice to Management

    keep company goal orientated and not so cliquish
