I have been working at Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing

Pros

Excellent job security, lots of vacation, great health care benefits.
Overall the team members are friendly and people generally exhibit a company first attitude (as opposed to only one dept or another.)

Cons

Little room for development after 5-7 years.
Rotation ability to other departments very limited.
Promotion opportunities becoming more and more limited.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Technical / skills promotions & recognition is very important. Glass ceiling for workers is very short. After 5-7 years little career advancement or personal growth is possible outside of management.

I have been working at Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing

    Pros

Nice young people, perfect to start after graduation. Very well organized, many procedures in place

    Cons

Long hours seem to count more than really being productive. If you like to be creative or take initiative or come up with new ideas, it can be difficult when everything is already organized and for everything there is a procedure.

I worked at Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing

    Pros

It either suits you or it doesn't, it didn't do the trick for me. It was an overall disappointing experience

    Cons

People think too highly of themselves when at the end of the day, they're only making cars, not saving lives. Managers are often obnoxious, too much confusion, organisation is miserable, lack of communication
