    Pros

    It's a job :( enough said

    Cons

The company focus is only on making money

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look into your local stores to see what is really going on. Pay for experience. Promote within. Stop focusing so much on reward cards, IC's, and BPP's and focus more on your employees.

Corporate Human Resources not a good place to work

    I worked at Toys ''R'' Us full-time

    Pros

I had nice and friendly co-workers. It was a good place to jog/walk. Small but good gym and very affordable dry cleaner available to employees. Half days on Fridays during the summer if you made up the time. Cafeteria on premises. Starbucks coffee.

    Cons

Corporate Human Resources was a good place to work. Belligerent management destroyed the warm, friendly culture former and better managment spent years cultivating. It is now a toxic environment without respect, motivation, or career development. Co-workers just disappear one day and you found out much later they were let go, without any explanation from management. Poor leadership. Morale is nonexistent. What a shame because it used to be a really great and fun place to work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire managment who live in the twenty first century, not the twentieth. Treat employees with the respect they deserve.
