    Pros

10% discount on toys and baby products

    Cons

Busy season don't expect a break. They work you right through your paid 15 minute breaks, and most of your unpaid 1/2 hour breaks. Yes there's little notes in the break room telling you to call the toll free number if you feel like you're not getting your fair share of breaks... don't call it unless you want to be fired for some other reason. After they work you through your 1/2 break (unpaid) they ask you to sign a piece of paper saying you forgot to punch in and out for lunch. Then there's the buyer protection plans (look at the prices of the protection plan... you're paying too much according to the manufacturers). You are expected to shove these down the throats of the customers. You don't sell enough in a day, you get publicly humiliated in the break room they put big fat zeros next to your name for all your co-workers to see. Lot's and Lot's of young management on power trips. Much like being in Jr. High again. If you're not in the in crowd expect 20 hours a week spread out so that it's impossible to work another job, expect to close one night and open the following morning, and expect to work every single weekend. Everyone who works for toys r us are expected to know how to run the cash registers.... it doesn't work like that. If you're in the in crowd, you don't have to work the cash register if you don't want to.
