I have been working at Toys ''R'' Us full-time for less than a year

Pros

Time off!! Lots of it as a salaried employee you get personal and vacation time.

Cons

Communication from corporate and district leadership is diluted and inconsistent.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on talent retention by making your line level employees a priority. Employees have to buy into the dream so that they can truly sell the brand.

I worked at Toys ''R'' Us part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Friendly coworkers and management. Working with kids can be fun. Shifts are fairly short. Management was very willing to work with scheduling conflicts.

    Cons

I was just paid minimum wage for starting pay, which is not enough money to pay rent/buy groceries.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Product training needs to be improved. Hands on training with toys and products would be more helpful than computer training.
