I worked at TracFone

Pros

They do have good benefits.

Cons

They video tape everything you do all day long. You are always being watched. It is well known that computers are always being monitored, phones can and may be tapped. You could never relax because you know that you are always being watched.

    I worked at TracFone

    Pros

TracFone has an entrepreneurial environment that constantly presents challenges for those willing to take them. During my tenure at the company I was lucky enough to take on many of them across multiple areas of the business.

    Cons

Not exactly a meritocracy type of environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There seems to be duplicity in functions across departments. Breaking down communication silos and further intradepartmental collaboration could go a long way.

I have been working at TracFone

    Pros

Tracfone's employees are very well educated including ivys. The organization is reletively flat, so interaction with senior leadership is common. Compensation is also very adequate and business is very stable, especially in these uncertain times.

    Cons

Due to the flat organization, promotion opportunity is a bit less than a regional organization. Generally employees are promoted within their existing role rather than applying for new internal opportunities causing some stagnation in movement by well qualified employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Attracting talent is important, but keeping talent is even more important. Beyond compensation, the ability to move and grow needs to be a focus in career development and will allow for the next generation of leaders to continue to be vested in the company's performance.
