Don't believe the hype

Mate (Assistant Manager) (Former Employee) Staten Island, NY

ProsCo-workers and managers are usually very upbeat, creative types who hold down a job to pay the bills while they pursue artistic endeavors. Very gay-friendly.

ConsThe 80/20 rule: 80% of the work gets done by just 20% of the crew. Lots of dead weight and management is very hesitant to lay off due to "diversity" concerns.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe job is "at will" so get rid of employees that don't measure up within the first 90 days.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

Not what it might have once been - now just a retail outlet.

Crew Member (Former Employee) State College, PA

I worked at Trader Joe's full-time for less than a year

Pros: Nice people, although they are mostly nice because they drank… Cons: Safety training is an afterthought.
