This company has amazing people and amazing benefits.

This company also shifts their managers around too much, which is stressful on the crew.

    Pros

    Awesome staff
Great benefits (if you want them)
    Christmas bonuses

    Cons

Management at my store did tend to be a bit haywire, but it was manageable and now I hear from former co-workers that they have straightened that out.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep listening to your employees!

I have been working at Trader Joe's part-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Good pay and benefits. Easy going coworkers. If there is ever a mate or merchant you don't get along with, be patient, they''ll be transferred soon enough

    Cons

Lack of a set schedule and inconsistent scheduled hours.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Cut the required management hours down to forty. It is impossible for a working mom to go full time. We do not have one at our store. It is a shame that only 20 something men
get promoted. It feel very discriminatory.
