  1. Good place but not to work in finance. Stressful atmosphere in accounts. No study support.

    Pros

    Great social events as it's travel company. Trips, organised parties and days out. Nice people in most of departments. Good rewards for service longer than 8 years.

    Cons

    Not challenging jobs in finance. Junior people are not getting any flexibility and are not trained properly as more seniors are afraid to lose Their jobs.

    Advice to Management

    Get involved more in support departments rather than focus only on operations department

    Pros

    (IT dept) Some exciting projects; Embracing of new technologies; Freedom to perform at your best; Good support for training and new skills acquisition. If you are in a position of management you are free to continuously improve processes independently.

    Cons

    Regrettably it is likely that most of the people you work with will not be type A or high performers. Can be difficult to improve methods/processes unless you are in a position of authority.

    Advice to Management

    Too many people are coasting and bringing the team/dept down. TMS needs to put more people on performance plans and hold them accountable.
