Political environment and "mistakes will be remembered" attitude. Everyone is learning as they move through life. A little more understanding as you age with the company would be great. It relates to maturing in general. As a teenager, you make choices for the wrong reasons. In your professional career, the same rules apply.

Advice to Senior Management

We really aren't THAT stupid. You can trust us with ideas and "just thinking out loud" concepts. We need to know how we are approaching new challenges.....not just policy changes. We are invested in the company and willing to accept new ideas and change. It's all the grayness that causes rumor and doubt. Be more open. A lot of the idle chit chat about who is doing what and where the company is going could be alleviated with open information exchange.
