I have been working at Trans-Tel Central full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

There are always opportunities to learn here. The Executives (originally owners) are down to earth, and very kind and caring for all levels of employees. It's amazing to see the improvements and progress that has been made since 2013 when the management group that was here for 2 years and caused major decline in the company were removed. From the top to the bottom everyone at Trans-tel is family and we are all committed to the success of this company.

    Cons

There is a lot of travel with some of the positions here. If you are not interested in traveling then I would say this may not be the place for you.

I worked at Trans-Tel Central full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Start up in Security. Some money, but not enough dedication to it's growth.

    Cons

Start up in Security. I was the only employee with any security background. They thought that with my 25+ years I could do it all. Sell, Service, and Install. They meant well but there was no commitment from the top down.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do your homework. If you want to enter the Security Market, research what part of it you want to do. I had great autonomy but no $$ to work with. Do not terminate your only salesman until you find a replacement.
