“A culture and environment that is not healthy or acceptable.”
Current Employee – been working at Transamerica Life Insurance
Pros – The best thing about working at Transamerica is the salary and bonus potential.
Cons – Processes, reports, and systems are all antiquated and people have a hard time changing their ways to increase efficiency. Culture is an environment where each division, including Corporate, battle each other frequently and no one steps to the front and makes decisions as they are scared of confrontations. Benefits are lackluster and they regulate PTO to certain months which limits when you are able to take vacations.
Advice to Senior Management – Take the lead and make the tough decisions. Provide better medical and retirement benefits. Be a manager and support your employees when they need you.
