Pros

Staff works hard and digs in to solve problems. Intelligent, self-motivated staff members willing to go the extra mile to meet client requests.

Cons

Management by crisis and deadline rather than by proactive project and product management. Little investment in R&D, employee education or management development.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Invest in training staff members so that they can excel at their assigned duties. Provide regular evaluations so that employees have feedback and can improve and modify work performance as needed. Make management decisions based on facts and research rather than emotion and fleeting impressions.

    I have been working at Transcend Services

    Pros

    I can't think of any except I work at home.

    Cons

    Unrealistic pay period monetary requirements. System slow either by chance or purpose so very hard to earn any money to live on.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Increase line count pay for E-mode jobs, we are all starving out here.

    Pros

    Bigger company with marketing and name recognition.

    Cons

    Very, very poor communication throughout company. Knee jerk reactions in decision making. Quick to throw $$ at a problem rather than taking time to investigate, research and respond appropriately. More reactive, after the fact, than proactive.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Clean house in upper management. Promote middle management as they are in the trenches with MLS & QA.
