    Pros

Company encourages employees to learn and grow within the company. A self-starter can add many skills to their job basket in a short time. It is a good entry level company for someone looking to learn the logistics business

    Cons

Company is slow to innovate. Company depends on squeezing maximum amount of work out of it's Logistics Coordinators at minimum pay. Mid level Management spends more time on internal politics and networking then it does on managing contracts and improving services.

    Advice to Management

Upgrade your technology and look to thin out your mid level management. You need to stop looking at your Logistics Coordinators as mere cogs in the machine. All the real work is being done at that level.

  2. Got to work with prominent clients such as Toyota and Bosch.

    Pros

Owned by Mitsui of Japan, a financially strong/conservative international company. Transfreight had offices in USA, Canada, and Mexico. Learned a lot about kaizen (continuous improvement). Most people have a sense of humor.

    Cons

Was often slow on decision-making and had a culture of micromanagement at one time (maybe both of these have changed with new management).

    Advice to Management

Accelerate calculated risk-taking and growth (maybe they have by now).
