It was a demanding and very time/life consuming job.

Area Manager (Current Employee)
Boston, MA

ProsLots of autonomy, had the opportunity of working with only monthly visits from the boss. Skill level grew in some areas. Good Boss.

ConsTechnologically antiquated. They don't use computers, only fax machines. Paper work needlessly intense. They don't listen to employees from ways to improve business. Employees are not valued or compensated fairly.

Advice to Senior ManagementGet computers. Value your employees. It is easier and cheaper to keep employees than constantly train new ones.

    What a Joke

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
    Nashville, TN

I have been working at Travel Traders full-time

Pros: - You are not micro-managed since the managers are rarely… Cons: - The pay is an insult for what you are required to do. - You assume the role of manager at all times basically, but you… Advice to Senior Management: - Learn how to do your job. - Pay more if you want each of your employees to run your stores with no supervision. - Actually care… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company… More
