Travelers is a strong, secure, and stable company with which to work. I enjoyed my years there.

    I worked at Travelers Companies

    Pros

Good benefits, strong and stable financially, opportunity to move between departments.

    Cons

Like many companies, over the past 5 years the work/life balance decreased. More and more was expected with less resources.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Wonderful leadership at the executive level. Very disappointed in the number of jobs that were moved out of the country.

Started out very good but the constant deceptions over time made me very dissatisfied.

I have been working at Travelers Companies

    Pros

Decent pay and benefits. The do provide good tools for getting the work done.

    Cons

They did not tell me the truth about travel when they hired me and 3 months later they told me that I would be traveling much more. 3 out of 14 people in my training class were left after a year on the job. The travel required was brutal.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop relying on lawyers and accountants to run your business. It will run you into the ground over the long haul.
