    I have been working at Travelers Companies full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Initial training is good. Used to feel like employees were important to travelers, unfortunately, not any more. Employees are a means to an end now.

    Cons

    Stressful. Lack of thought for employees well being. Kept on phones answering calls for 2.5 to 3 hours at a time without breaks to use restroom. Have impossibly high performance metrics and managers harrass you and shame you by publishing to all team members each person's metrics.

    Advice to Management

    Management should get their heads on straight and start think about employees has human beings, with needs that may not always match the employers wants in an employee. Metrics should be based on more than giving the customer what they want, as many times customers are giving things that they should not be. Went things are handled incorrectly by employees taking calls as managers, not always any follow through on corrections.
