I have been working at Travelport full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

A decent salary, but the company lacks vision, strategy, and chooses to ignore the hundreds of policies it has posted on its intranet.

    Cons

Travelport is a "hotch potch"of different companies that have merged over the years, which means that employees have all come from different places of employment with different values, ethics and processes. The company has done little to ensure that all employees now fully buy into a new company strategy (not sure they really have one). Have read the reviews on here, and it is so true, the company lacks so much in terms of leadership, staff development etc. The HR department leaves much to be desired and the phrase "hardly relevant" definitely springs to mind.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The Senior Management don't careless about the employees, and they constantly go on and on about compliance and ethics making all employees sit a Code of Conduct test, yet it is one of the most unethical places I have ever worked in. The people at the top don't want to rock the boat, and are just in it for as along as they can continue to shove large amounts of cash into their pockets.
