    Pros

Commenting on HO/IT only: The working atmosphere/culture is still good, despite all the changes. There is a strong commitment to flexibly working. Management are trying to improve things.

    Cons

There has been a huge amount of change in past 2 years. It is a very different place to what it used to be. Staff now feel far less commitment or loyalty than they used to which is a reflection of the changes. It is now a big FT100 company and there is constant downgrading of jobs through process and structure. Hence, oddly enough, even though it has become a bigger company, the opportunities to progress have diminished. HR has struggled to adapt to best practice for the new paradigm and is poor. If you are going to progress expect to have to do it all yourself, with very little support. Having said this, I do think they are trying to improve things.

    Advice to Management

Don't just follow whatever the latest fad some consultancy firm is pedalling.
