Pros

Great people and business opportunity. Excellent customers who are a pleasure to work with. Tremendous opportunity to contribute and help grow the company.

Cons

Total lack of cooperation among leadership which creates fiefdoms. Various fiefdoms wage wars creating an atmosphere of "favoritism" regardless of actual performance. No real commitment to actually improving how things work.

Advice to Management

Lead! Stop arguing, fighting and finger pointing.

    Pros

My peers were some of the best business analysts and IT developers in the business. They are what kept me there as long as I stayed.

    Cons

Disconnect between employees and management: when I was hired, I was very happy as I thought I had found a great place to work. That went away within the first month - as soon as I started to see what was really going on. I just couldn't believe that a company could be so bad and ended up just putting my head down and just worked. When I eventually lifted my head out of the sand, I then experienced total and utter defeat. I had so many grand ideas of how I could be a part of something great, but after being shot down time and again, I realized that it was impossible with a manager who NEVER had my back.. That, and the big brother atmosphere killed any desire I had to work and all the pride that I once had in that work.

    Advice to Management

Wake up and smell the coffee.
