    Pros

Good people. Sabbatical - extra time off every 5 years.

    Cons

Management is not held responsible for poor performance. Many areas lacking enough resources - managers earn bonus for not hiring if it is really needed. Mixed messages on what priorities should be. No clear lines of responsibility. Extreme competition for limited resources so often it is very hard to get the job done. New employees are rewarded with decent pay, but if you stay a long time, your salary will really fall behind. Hardest working people are not rewarded.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Clean house of poor performers, reward the people that are getting the job done.

I have been working at TriQuint

    Pros

Excellent pay, 12 hour compressed workweek, good shift premium, overtime pay after 8 hours.
Alternating weeks of 3 days on, 3 days off / 4 days on, 4 days off.
3 weeks vacation, 10 floating holidays, 3 week sabbatical after 5 years.
    Excellent benefits.

    Cons

Recent gravitation towards archaic management style.
    No "fair" means of advancement.
Training is minimal and not prioritized.
The time needed to produce a "quality" per spec product is no longer allowed.
Management is very disrespectful towards direct labor employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management, you have lost your way. Please respect your workers. Your job exists ONLY because of us. Focus less on your own advancement and more on what is good for the customer, the company, and the employees. Stop selling your soul to the corporate devil.
