I have been working at TriZetto full-time (more than an year)

Pros

- Some of the brightest sysadmins in Denver
  - Very niche/high-end hardware
  - High volume
  - Fun
  - Intense

Cons

- Too many managers
  - Upper management is often out of touch with first line managers and below
  - There are teams who enjoy living with "crusty" technology, and are often underqualified (yes, entire teams)
  - Not open-source friendly
  - Resistant to industry trends (slow adoption)
  - Microsoft-heavy shop
  - Dramatic (sometimes hostile) politics

Honestly you will find all of these at every corporation, so though there may be more cons, the pros are hard enough to come by that working at TriZetto is worth it.

I worked at TriZetto full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Most co-workers you work with will be willing to help.
Its a place to start if you need some experience but do move on and make it quick.

    Cons

    Where to start?
    - Upper Management is a joke. If your not in Denver then your not apart of the "in" crowd.
    - Cronyism. The CTO brings in his buddy to be the CIO and they bring in everyone else. No one has any healthcare experience which resulted in knee-jerk reactions and very unusual unprofessional actions.
    - Healthcare related company with bad health insurance?
    - Barely any raise or bonus if any no mater how hard you work.
    - You will get bored if you are a true professional.
    - The CEO likes to think its the place everyone wants to work for but yet I see more of my former, knowledgeable peers leave in the last year for better positions. That should ring a bell if anything.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The world does not revolve around the Denver HQ so realize it.
Value your employees that you do have left before all that old knowledge disappears.
Figure out where you want to take the company and get the right people on board to take care of it. If they under preform then get ride of them!

I have been working at TriZetto full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The employees seem to be jolly and happy even when their product is not working.

    Cons

Trizetto spent 2 weeks using the costumers IT resources to try and make their product work properly. The system requirements needed for their products are old, outdated, and are considered a security risk. In order for their product to work, the customer must spend a tremendous amount of time to accommodate for Trizetto's product.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Either quit or revamp your whole system of operation.
