Pros

- Some of the brightest sysadmins in Denver
  - Very niche/high-end hardware
  - High volume
  - Fun
  - Intense

Cons

- Too many managers
  - Upper management is often out of touch with first line managers and below
  - There are teams who enjoy living with "crusty" technology, and are often underqualified (yes, entire teams)
  - Not open-source friendly
  - Resistant to industry trends (slow adoption)
  - Microsoft-heavy shop
  - Dramatic (sometimes hostile) politics

Honestly you will find all of these at every corporation, so though there may be more cons, the pros are hard enough to come by that working at TriZetto is worth it.

    Pros

Most co-workers you work with will be willing to help.
Its a place to start if you need some experience but do move on and make it quick.

    Cons

    Where to start?
    - Upper Management is a joke. If your not in Denver then your not apart of the "in" crowd.
    - Cronyism. The CTO brings in his buddy to be the CIO and they bring in everyone else. No one has any healthcare experience which resulted in knee-jerk reactions and very unusual unprofessional actions.
    - Healthcare related company with bad health insurance?
    - Barely any raise or bonus if any no mater how hard you work.
    - You will get bored if you are a true professional.
    - The CEO likes to think its the place everyone wants to work for but yet I see more of my former, knowledgeable peers leave in the last year for better positions. That should ring a bell if anything.

    Advice to Management

The world does not revolve around the Denver HQ so realize it.
Value your employees that you do have left before all that old knowledge disappears.
Figure out where you want to take the company and get the right people on board to take care of it. If they under preform then get ride of them!

Very disappointing; little to no investment in new employees; very selfish culture; lack of customer service focus

    Pros

Great products, long term employees retain the culture of excellent customer service

    Cons

It appears TZ executive management is solely focused on dressing up the top / bottom line number to position TZ for acquisition; VERY HIGH turnover rate for employees hired within the previous 18 months - most likely near 30%

    Advice to Management

Change the executive management team; instill a culture of customer service first; invest in training new employees to enable better understanding of the myriad of internal processes / procedures
