Pros

1 month vacation, above average benefits

Cons

It's like leaving college and going to college all over again... if you are a minority be prepared to make your own path socially. 95% of employees are white and come from upper middle class families. There is ZERO diversity and no internal encourgagement to partake in diverse activities or recruit from more diverse schools. If you are white, have money and have been spoiled by your parents your entire life, this is the place for you.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire upper management from OUTSIDE the clickish management circle. From HR to RSG these people are all in bed wih each other.

    Pros

The management is very responsive, employee feedback is taken very seriously, and you can tell they really care about their employees and try to balance the work/life balance. The benefits are great and it's a relatively low stress job. Coworkers are well-rounded and fun to be around.

    Cons

The turnover is pretty high and there is a linear promotional track based on time spent at company. Interest in healthcare is a must.

Sharp Young Consultants Who Work Hard and Play Hard Too

I have been working at Triage Consulting Group full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Looking for a place with young people, a competitive salary, consulting with reasonable hours (45/wk..your friends will be working double), training, career development, travel perks, chance to voice your opinion, entrance to a growing healthcare industry, transparency, and an office with windows overlooking midtown in Atlanta? Pretty much describes our work environment. Culture is very strong here, TEAMWORK is the crux. With the squads you get the chance to help with areas of interest like recruiting, social responsibility, IT, etc much like a club in college. You have access to upper management with multiple outlets to voice how to improve the company. Even as a new hire, you are given freedom to problem solve without being micromanaged. If you are a friendly self-starter, you are a good fit. We have paid volunteer time, happy hours, teambuilding, and a month ago management had a guy deliver popsicles to the office. We work hard and play hard too.

    Cons

Work can get tedious and repetitive, but it is work, so most any kind you do will get repetive at some point. Also you will be on the phones a lot, so be prepared for that. Will you be a lifer? Probably not. But this is a good start.
